Edith Hermida addresses controversy on her show

Buenos Aires, Jan 2 (NA) – Edith Hermida spoke out after the turmoil caused by the departure of several panelists from 'Bendita' and responded without filter to those who point to her as responsible for the internal conflict, assuring that she is tired of the labels they assigned to her. According to what Argentine News Agency learned, the host spoke on 'Intrusos,' where she combined irony and frustration to refer to the image that, she said, was built around her role during the cycle's break. 'Did I change now?' she asked sarcastically, in reference to the questions that circulated on social media and other shows. Hermida stated that she has gone through different emotional stages since the changes in the program, but now she tries to move forward. 'That's it, I went through different stages of change and now I try to move on like everyone else,' she expressed, although she made it clear that what bothered her the most was not the decision of her former colleagues, but the narrative that positioned her as an antagonist. In that sense, she clarified that she does not have a personal conflict with Alejandra Maglietti and emphasized that the anger arose when the version began to take hold that she would have prevented farewells or made arbitrary decisions. 'What pisses me off is that all of America talks about me and then people accuse me of not letting my colleagues say goodbye,' she stated. The host was also firm when referring to the administrative aspects that, in her view, were distorted. 'They weren't fired, they resigned,' she affirmed, and detailed that in some cases the panelists had already formalized their departure, while in others it was necessary to reorganize the program's grid. To close, Hermida asked to lower the tone of the confrontation and leave the controversy behind: 'This situation angers me, that's it. Let's live and let live,' she expressed before saying goodbye with a phrase full of irony aimed at her detractors. 'A kiss for all my friends in America and for those who send me the videos with the graphs of 'the villain,' 'the witch,' 'the evil one'... I'm here,' she stated. 'Did I get on the pony?' she launched with sarcasm, alluding to the criticisms that circulated on networks and other programs.
